Artisan Food Fest

 Autumn is in the air and that means market season in South Florida! Join us at the Coral Gables Museum for the October Artisan Food Fest on our beautiful Plaza this Saturday, October 20 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Over 20 local artisan foodies will offer hand-crafted sausages, jerky, jams, jellies, granola, scrumptious baked goods, popsicles, ice cream, sauces and so much more! Enjoy breakfast or lunch at an umbrella-ed table listening to beautiful music in a European Market atmosphere! Yummy sampling, a raffle for a Museum membership and its all FREE!!!

Museum Music Series

The Coral Gables Museum presents the inaugural Museum Music Series beginning Friday, October 26 with Angelica Sganga: Clair de Lune: A Tribute to Claude Debussy, 150th Anniversary In celebration of the great French composer’s 150th anniversary of his birth, Angelica Sganga, pianist, will perform an evening of Debussy’s music with special appearance of guest artist Huifang Chen, violin. “Music is a dream from which the veils have been drawn! It’s not even the expression of a feeling – it is the feeling itself.” -Claude Debussy (1862-1918). Admission: $30; $20 for Museum members.The Musis series offers monthly performances through May 2014 with series ticket prices starting at $155 for members. Party on the Plaza at the Coral Gables Museum

 Party on the Plaza featuring Bacardi cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and music by DJ Jeff Wool
Tickets include admission to the Museum, complimentary cocktails, food and music. Also, opening of Puro, a group show of diverse individuals part of the artist collection known as Guild who have grown and had their works shaped and influenced by the City of Coral Gables, and the Young Associates Art Show.This event will promote local Miami artists Victor Alarcon, Christiaan Lopez-Miro, Paul Ramirez, Raul Boesel, Gaudi Castro, Alex Mijares and Michael Halley. Admission: $25 per person
