The Wholesome Grocer
The Garden serves as monthly pick-up point and resource for fresh, local and organic produce, grass-fed beef, free-range chicken and eggs, as well as assorted seasonal foods from local growers. Sign up for the Wholesome Grocer service, operated by Cindy Hill of Hill Wellness Group, pre-order from a grocery list posted on her website and pick up at the Garden. The public is invited to view the tabletop arrangements and horticulture entries in the Garden Club Spring Flower Show.

Horticulture Director Benoit Jonckheere will demonstrate and discuss basic techniques and equipment for plant propagation with seeds, cutting, grafting and air-layering in a hands-on workshop format.

Fotomission and Tropicolor host the 7th South Beach Photomarathon. Open to professional and amateur photographers. Professor Carrie Penabad discusses Marion Manley: Miami’s First Woman Architect
Miami Beach Historical Association and the Garden present author and professor Carie Penabad discussing the legacy of Miami’s first female architect, Marion Manley. Penabad is an assistant professor at the School of Architecture of the University of Miami and a principal at CURE & PENABAD Architects. Her firm has been awarded numerous professional recognitions and awards, including American Institute of Architects awards, state and local preservation awards, a National Congress for New Urbanism Award, and a Silver Medal prize at the 2010 Miami Biennale. She published Marion Manley:  Miami’s First Woman Architect, with respected historian and author Catherine Lynn.
