NEWLATINA.NET BECOMES AN ONLINE MAGAZINE AND LAUNCHES A LATINA BUSINESS DIRECTORY

NEWLATINA.NET BECOMES AN ONLINE
MAGAZINE AND LAUNCHES A LATINA
BUSINESS DIRECTORY

(New York, New York, May 17, 2011)  www.NewLatina.Net a lifestyle and personal growth site for English-dominant, bicultural women that covers relevant topics such as career, family and lifestyle has re-launched as an online magazine.

NewLatina.net was created by Angelica Perez-Litwin, the publisher and CEO, to offer an online platform with relevant and smart content for today’s Latina women who are working, building careers, taking care of family and living life to the fullest.

“We are thrilled at how NewLatina.net has grown since we launched last year. The response the website has received, in such a short period of time, is a testament to the need for content that is relevant and speaks to the contemporary Latina who is driven, ambitious, family-oriented and connected to her Latino heritage. With this community-driven and expanded content, a magazine-style platform was the next natural step.”

Since launching last year, the content on NewLatina.net has expanded significantly, and it now offers information, education and advice on:

Personal Growth
Career & Entrepreneurship
Family & LifeStyle
Latina Identity
Personal Stories
Interviews and Spotlights
This expansion has been a direct result of reader-driven content, as users have offered to serve as content developers and contributors.

The creators of the New Latina Magazine also launched the first Latina Online-Business Directory, a site designed to showcase and support Latina-owned online businesses, worldwide.  This business line of extension will be followed by an education extension, expected to launch in the summer of 2011.
