The artist Jorge Santos was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1973; he lived there until 2008, when he came to the United States and settled in Miami. He lives there and continues to create. He studied at the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts from 2000 to 2004. His concern with art is his inner self and the relief that art presents by being able to express his inner experiences through life. He is searching for a formal and yet individual expression with strong contour lines, where his characters face his true inner self, presenting all types of emotions, so common but yet so needed in life.
