MIAMI, FLorida October 4,   2013 The Cuban Art Project- Looking  for  wonderland  is  a  photobook.  A  narration.  A  DVD.  About  a  journey  through   America  traveled  in  2011,  starting  in  Seattle  leading  to  New  York  City  across  many  miles  of  American  daily life,  through  big  cities  and  reservations,  a  desert  and  hurricane  Irene.  What  started  as  the  continuation  of   a  long-‐term  project  about  home  as  an  emotional  place  lead  to  a  personal  book  and  video  about  America.

Richard  Tooke,  long  time  Director  of  Rights  &  Reproductions,  Photographic  Archives,  and  Photographic   Studios  of  the  Museum  of  Modern  Art  (MoMA),  New  York,  writes  in  his  foreword:  “In  looking  through  his   images  many  American  photographers’  images  flash  before  my  eyes:  Walker  Evans,  Wright  Morris,  Elliot   Frank,  H.H.  Bennett,  Ansel  Adams,  Elliot  Erwitt,  Lee  Friedlander,  and,  of  course,  William  Eggleston.  …  You  would  never  confuse  his  images  with  their  images,  because  his  photographs  speak  through  Andreas’  own  voice:  Straightforward,  uncompromising  and  clear.”  Looking  for  Wonderland  is  a  self-‐publishing  project  under  the  imprint  bt:st  verlag,  which  was  founded  by  Andreas  and  his  wife  in  2012  to  provide  a  new  home  for  his  works.
