Ricardo de la Fuente will showcase his artwork at Spectrum Art Fair 2014



MIAMI, Florida November 11, 2014- The Cuban Art Project. Ricardo de la Fuente will participate in Spectrum Miami, from Wednesday, Dec. 3, to Sunday, Dec. 7, in the heart of the Wynwood Art District during Art Week Miami.

Spectrum is more than an art show — it is a four-day fine art experience featuring top galleries and artists from across the U.S. and around the world, along with live performances, curated Art Lab projects and late night parties drawing crowds from all corners of the world.

Ricardo de la Fuente was born in Havana, Cuba in 1955 but he immigrated with his family to Caracas, Venezuela when he was a seven-year-old child. Since a very young age, he has been involved in the art world. Raised in a family of artists, Ricardo de la Fuente passed from being an observer to an active participant, who developed a fruitful career in Graphic Design.

He attended Pratt Institute in New York City in 1982 and obtained a degree in Fine Arts with a minor in Graphic Design & Illustration.

At his return to Venezuela in 1984, Ricardo de la Fuente became the CEO of DeLaFuente Top Design, a renowned 40 year old company excelling in the positioning of top brands such as Procter & Gamble, L’Oreal, United Distillers & Vintner, Fundición Pacífico, Empresas Polar, Circuito FM Center, Monaca, Cargill and many others.

More recently, Ricardo de la Fuente has been devoted to Fine Arts, his real passion and vocation. He has created a series of artworks characterized by their mysticism. His sculptures and paintings are unconventional and intriguing; a sample of defiance and distinctiveness.
